A Month of Hints for Your Cleaning Business

Objections - first listen

James Nokes

Hi:

I'm James Nokes from The Cleaning Institute
Here is hint number two, I hope you enjoy it.

Hint Number Two

Here's another tip on dealing with objections - listen to them. It can be uncomfortable to hear people bring up objections to your service, especially when you are first getting started in the business. It's easy to take them personally and to want to respond immediately. But you don't make sales by arguing, even if you think you won. Always listen to the other person without interrupting.

Listening closely to an objection is at least half the battle in successfully resolving it. The exact same thing is true for complaints if you listen to the entire complaint without interrupting or trying to argue your side of the issue you are much more likely to keep your customers business.
