The Cleaning Institute

Hi,

I'm James Nokes, (that's me on the right.)

I created The Cleaning Institute to provide information on commercial and residential cleaning services and to sell a manual I wrote called,
How to Start a Cleaning Company (And Make It Pay!)

That's me, adding content to my site

"You have reached the Nokes residence......."

That's what you'll hear if you call and get my answering machine because I use my home phone as my contact number. I did this because many people are reluctant to do business with an anonymous website.

By using my personal number and my home address for my contact information I have made my site as un-anonymous as possible..... Having said that, please use my phone number only for emergencies (and only during business hours, 9a.m. to 5 p.m. PST) I answer my email promptly and it always seems to take less time than playing "phone tag" with people.

Most people hate their drivers license photo --
but I think mine looks very distinguished.
What do you think?

Mini-Biography

I used to work as a computer operator in the San Francisco Bay area. It was a very high stress job and eventually I decided to go back to college and get my degree.

That left me with the problem of supporting myself while going to school during the day. I started a small cleaning business so I could work nights and weekends. It worked out well, I made good money for what was basically a part-time job.

Here's me,

computer

After I got my degree, I decided to continue with my business full-time to see if I could grow it into a large company. For a while things went well and my business thrived, then, without much warning, my kidneys failed.

I've been on dialysis ever since. I don't have the stamina I once did so running a full-time cleaning company is out of the question. I decided to write a manual on the subject and eventually to create this website....

That's all well and good -
but why did you put up all these ape pictures???

Most people find my site on one of the Search Engines. They like the information on it but sometimes are reluctant to deal with an unknown business. That's why I created this page, to let you get to know a little about me and to have a little fun.

                                             Yours,
